Everyone is invited to attend a meeting (usually the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month). We have members who have just purchased their first camera to serious amateurs and professionals. And it does not matter if you are using print film, digital capture, slide film, 35mm, large format - if you are making images using some type of photographic process, you are welcome.

Calendar of Events
    What are the dates for those meetings and events? These include monthly Shoot-Outs; the semi-annual Pony Village Show & Sale; Potlucks; Scavenger Hunts; the Coos County Fair; and who knows what else.

Typically we conduct two meetings (plus a Board of Directors meeting) every month, and each has different activities (includes a link to descriptions of what the various parts of our meetings are called or what they mean). Library
    OCPA receives many printed materials that are available to our members. The PSA Journal and O'Reilly & Peachpit Press books are currently the "name brands" we have to choose from. This section also has recommendations and reviews of these items.

    While the Bylaws are what governs our organization, the Policies and Procedures provide us with guidelines on how to get that done. Also available as an Adobe Acrobat Reader download.

Competition, and other Rules & Guidelines

    OCPA also conducts other activities that are not competitions but which require some type of rules or guidelines; such as the Pony Village Show & Sale or the Coos County Fair. This is the place to go to find out.
