A.    All OCPA members who wish to participate can bring one (1) image to the Annual Meeting (it is not necessary to submit in advance, i.e. “Members Only” Electronic Division).
B.    This competition will be open (no theme, any subject matter).
C.    The image can be either a print (mono or color) or electronic file.
D.    All images must meet the same “Submission Criteria” required for “OCPA’s Members Only Competitions” (i.e. labeling, size, format, etc.).

IV.    JUDGING

A.    This will be a “heads-up” competition (no medium divisions), i.e. prints (both mono and color) will compete with/against electronic.
B.    Three (3) judges will be selected from OCPA members (or guests) present at the Annual Meeting by the Committee Chair (persons attending with strong photographic backgrounds and who are not participating will be given priority for judging selection).
C.    The judges will select, by consensus, a 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd Place image - plus a reasonable amount of Honorable Mentions (as determined by the Committee Chair and the judges based on the number of entries – approximately 10%). Ties will be broken.

V.    ANNUAL “IMAGE OF THE YEAR” COMPETITION: All images that received awards will be retained by the “Year End Chair” for an “Image of the Year” competition (by Division). Consult with the “Members Only Rules/Guidelines” for more information.

VI.   IMAGE REPRODUCTION: All images eligible for the “Image of the Year” Competition may be reproduced in OCPA’s official publications (newsletter, website, brochures, posters, etc.).
