2010-11 "Image of the
Year" Galleries
During our competition year (July to June), we conduct four
"Member's Only" competitions, each in three division: Color Prints, Electronic &
Monochrome Prints. At the end of that year, the winning images are recalled and
sent to a fellow Columbia Council of Camera Clubs (4Cs) club, and they (this
year the Emerald
Photographic Society - Eugene, Oregon) judged and picked out the winning
images. Each gallery should open into a new window. (Download

Fall 2011
"Creative" Scavenger Hunt Galleries
October 3rd thru November 7th, 2011, 20 registered
participants found themselves shooting the Fall 2011 Scavenger Hunt. It is
called "creative" because participants were allowed/encouraged to use
any or all of their creative skill both in equipment and post production
techniques to enhance their images (unlike the "traditional" where we wanted to
see an image as close as possible as it would look right from the camera - like
we were shooting slide film). Rules
Then on November 21st, members and guests (18 in total) had the opportunity to judge the
88 images by 10 submitting participants from the 10 categories/subjects.
For a limited time, you can view all the submitted images and judge them yourself (using
the standard 1-9 scale with 9 being "perfect", 5 average and 1 as "just
because"). Or you can just view the winning images. Plus, if you are
interested, you can view the score spreadsheets (no need to download a file & judges names are withheld to protect
the 'innocent"). Each gallery should open into a new window/tab.
